FrameTimings
open class FrameTimings : FrameTimingsProtocol
The FrameTimings
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GdkFrameTimings
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through FrameTimingsProtocol
conformance.
Use FrameTimings
as a strong reference or owner of a GdkFrameTimings
instance.
A GdkFrameTimings
object holds timing information for a single frame
of the application’s displays.
To retrieve GdkFrameTimings
objects, use [methodGdk.FrameClock.get_timings
]
or [methodGdk.FrameClock.get_current_timings
]. The information in
GdkFrameTimings
is useful for precise synchronization of video with
the event or audio streams, and for measuring quality metrics for the
application’s display, such as latency and jitter.
-
Untyped pointer to the underlying `GdkFrameTimings` instance.
For type-safe access, use the generated, typed pointer
frame_timings_ptr
property instead.Declaration
Swift
public let ptr: UnsafeMutableRawPointer!
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theFrameTimings
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GdkFrameTimings>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theFrameTimings
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GdkFrameTimings>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer

data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theFrameTimings
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer

instance.Declaration
