IconSet

open class IconSet : IconSetProtocol

The IconSet type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkIconSet instance. It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through IconSetProtocol conformance. Use IconSet as a strong reference or owner of a GtkIconSet instance.

  • ptr
    Untyped pointer to the underlying `GtkIconSet` instance.

    For type-safe access, use the generated, typed pointer icon_set_ptr property instead.

    Declaration

    Swift

    public let ptr: UnsafeMutableRawPointer!
  • Designated initialiser from the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkIconSet>)

    Parameters

    op

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkIconSet>)

    Parameters

    op

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Optional initialiser from a non-mutating gpointer to the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)

    Parameters

    op

    gpointer to the underlying object

  • Optional initialiser from a non-mutating gconstpointer to the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)

    Parameters

    op

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkIconSet>?)

    Parameters

    op

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Optional initialiser from the underlying C data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkIconSet>?)

    Parameters

    op

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Designated initialiser from the underlying C data type. Will retain GtkIconSet. i.e., ownership is transferred to the IconSet instance.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkIconSet>)

    Parameters

    op

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init<T>(_ other: T) where T : IconSetProtocol

    Parameters

    other

    an instance of a related type that implements IconSetProtocol

  • Unsafe typed initialiser. Do not use unless you know the underlying data type the pointer points to conforms to IconSetProtocol.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init<T>(cPointer p: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)

    Parameters

    cPointer

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Unsafe typed, retaining initialiser. Do not use unless you know the underlying data type the pointer points to conforms to IconSetProtocol.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init<T>(retainingCPointer cPointer: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)

    Parameters

    cPointer

    pointer to the underlying object

  • Unsafe untyped initialiser. Do not use unless you know the underlying data type the pointer points to conforms to IconSetProtocol.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @inlinable
    public init(raw p: UnsafeRawPointer)

    Parameters

    p

    raw pointer to the underlying object

  • Unsafe untyped, retaining initialiser. Do not use unless you know the underlying data type the pointer points to conforms to IconSetProtocol.

    Declaration

  • Creates a new GtkIconSet. A GtkIconSet represents a single icon in various sizes and widget states. It can provide a GdkPixbuf for a given size and state on request, and automatically caches some of the rendered GdkPixbuf objects.

    Normally you would use gtk_widget_render_icon_pixbuf() instead of using GtkIconSet directly. The one case where you’d use GtkIconSet is to create application-specific icon sets to place in a GtkIconFactory.

    new is deprecated: Use #GtkIconTheme instead.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @available(*, deprecated)
    @inlinable
    public init()
  • Creates a new GtkIconSet with pixbuf as the default/fallback source image. If you don’t add any additional GtkIconSource to the icon set, all variants of the icon will be created from pixbuf, using scaling, pixelation, etc. as required to adjust the icon size or make the icon look insensitive/prelighted.

    new_from_pixbuf is deprecated: Use #GtkIconTheme instead.

    Declaration

    Swift

    @available(*, deprecated)
    @inlinable
    public init<PixbufT>(pixbuf: PixbufT) where PixbufT : PixbufProtocol
