TearoffMenuItem
open class TearoffMenuItem : MenuItem, TearoffMenuItemProtocol
A GtkTearoffMenuItem
is a special GtkMenuItem
which is used to
tear off and reattach its menu.
When its menu is shown normally, the GtkTearoffMenuItem
is drawn as a
dotted line indicating that the menu can be torn off. Activating it
causes its menu to be torn off and displayed in its own window
as a tearoff menu.
When its menu is shown as a tearoff menu, the GtkTearoffMenuItem
is drawn
as a dotted line which has a left pointing arrow graphic indicating that
the tearoff menu can be reattached. Activating it will erase the tearoff
menu window.
> GtkTearoffMenuItem
is deprecated and should not be used in newly
> written code. Menus are not meant to be torn around.
The TearoffMenuItem
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkTearoffMenuItem
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through TearoffMenuItemProtocol
conformance.
Use TearoffMenuItem
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkTearoffMenuItem
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
TearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkTearoffMenuItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkTearoffMenuItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkTearoffMenuItem>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkTearoffMenuItem>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. Will retainGtkTearoffMenuItem
. i.e., ownership is transferred to theTearoffMenuItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkTearoffMenuItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
TearoffMenuItemProtocol
Will retainGtkTearoffMenuItem
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init<T>(tearoffMenuItem other: T) where T : TearoffMenuItemProtocol
Parameters

TearoffMenuItemProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init<T>(cPointer p: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)

TearoffMenuItemProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init<T>(retainingCPointer cPointer: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)
