NativeDialog
open class NativeDialog : GLibObject.Object, NativeDialogProtocol
Native dialogs are platform dialogs that don’t use GtkDialog
or
GtkWindow
. They are used in order to integrate better with a
platform, by looking the same as other native applications and
supporting platform specific features.
The GtkDialog
functions cannot be used on such objects, but we
need a similar API in order to drive them. The GtkNativeDialog
object is an API that allows you to do this. It allows you to set
various common properties on the dialog, as well as show and hide
it and get a GtkNativeDialog::response
signal when the user finished
with the dialog.
There is also a gtk_native_dialog_run()
helper that makes it easy
to run any native dialog in a modal way with a recursive mainloop,
similar to gtk_dialog_run()
.
The NativeDialog
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkNativeDialog
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through NativeDialogProtocol
conformance.
Use NativeDialog
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkNativeDialog
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
NativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkNativeDialog>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkNativeDialog>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkNativeDialog>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkNativeDialog>?)
Parameters
op

-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. Will retainGtkNativeDialog
. i.e., ownership is transferred to theNativeDialog
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkNativeDialog>)
Parameters
op

-
Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
NativeDialogProtocol
Will retainGtkNativeDialog
.Declaration
