ToolItem
open class ToolItem : Bin, ToolItemProtocol
GtkToolItems
are widgets that can appear on a toolbar. To
create a toolbar item that contain something else than a button, use
gtk_tool_item_new()
. Use gtk_container_add()
to add a child
widget to the tool item.
For toolbar items that contain buttons, see the GtkToolButton
,
GtkToggleToolButton
and GtkRadioToolButton
classes.
See the GtkToolbar
class for a description of the toolbar widget, and
GtkToolShell
for a description of the tool shell interface.
The ToolItem
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkToolItem
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through ToolItemProtocol
conformance.
Use ToolItem
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkToolItem
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
ToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkToolItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkToolItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkToolItem>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkToolItem>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. Will retainGtkToolItem
. i.e., ownership is transferred to theToolItem
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkToolItem>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
ToolItemProtocol
Will retainGtkToolItem
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init<T>(toolItem other: T) where T : ToolItemProtocol
Parameters
other

ToolItemProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init<T>(cPointer p: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)

ToolItemProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init<T>(retainingCPointer cPointer: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)
Parameters

-
Unsafe untyped initialiser. Do not use unless you know the underlying data type the pointer points to conforms to
ToolItemProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init(raw p: UnsafeRawPointer)
Parameters
