AppChooser
open class AppChooser : Widget, AppChooserProtocol
GtkAppChooser
is an interface for widgets which allow the user to
choose an application.
The main objects that implement this interface are
[classGtk.AppChooserWidget
],
[classGtk.AppChooserDialog
] and [classGtk.AppChooserButton
].
Applications are represented by GIO GAppInfo
objects here.
GIO has a concept of recommended and fallback applications for a
given content type. Recommended applications are those that claim
to handle the content type itself, while fallback also includes
applications that handle a more generic content type. GIO also
knows the default and last-used application for a given content
type. The GtkAppChooserWidget
provides detailed control over
whether the shown list of applications should include default,
recommended or fallback applications.
To obtain the application that has been selected in a GtkAppChooser
,
use [methodGtk.AppChooser.get_app_info
].
The AppChooser
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkAppChooser
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through AppChooserProtocol
conformance.
Use AppChooser
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkAppChooser
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
AppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkAppChooser>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkAppChooser>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkAppChooser>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkAppChooser>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. Will retainGtkAppChooser
. i.e., ownership is transferred to theAppChooser
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkAppChooser>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
AppChooserProtocol
Will retainGtkAppChooser
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init<T>(appChooser other: T) where T : AppChooserProtocol
Parameters
other

AppChooserProtocol
.Declaration
Swift

AppChooserProtocol
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init<T>(retainingCPointer cPointer: UnsafeMutablePointer<T>)
