CellRendererText
open class CellRendererText : CellRenderer, CellRendererTextProtocol
Renders text in a cell
A GtkCellRendererText
renders a given text in its cell, using the font, color and
style information provided by its properties. The text will be ellipsized if it is
too long and the GtkCellRendererText:ellipsize
property allows it.
If the GtkCellRenderer:mode
is GTK_CELL_RENDERER_MODE_EDITABLE
,
the GtkCellRendererText
allows to edit its text using an entry.
The CellRendererText
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkCellRendererText
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through CellRendererTextProtocol
conformance.
Use CellRendererText
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkCellRendererText
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
CellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkCellRendererText>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkCellRendererText>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkCellRendererText>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkCellRendererText>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C
data type. Will retainGtkCellRendererText
. i.e., ownership is transferred to theCellRendererText
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkCellRendererText>)
Parameters

Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
CellRendererTextProtocol
Will retainGtkCellRendererText
.Declaration

Creates a new
GtkCellRendererText
. Adjust how text is drawn using object properties. Object properties can be set globally (withg_object_set()
). Also, withGtkTreeViewColumn
, you can bind a property to a value in aGtkTreeModel
. For example, you can bind the “text” property on the cell renderer to a string value in the model, thus rendering a different string in each row of theGtkTreeView
.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init()
