SortListModel
open class SortListModel : GLibObject.Object, SortListModelProtocol
A GListModel
that sorts the elements of an underlying model
according to a GtkSorter
.
The model can be set up to do incremental sorting, so that
sorting long lists doesn’t block the UI. See
[methodGtk.SortListModel.set_incremental
] for details.
GtkSortListModel
is a generic model and because of that it
cannot take advantage of any external knowledge when sorting.
If you run into performance issues with GtkSortListModel
,
it is strongly recommended that you write your own sorting list
model.
The SortListModel
type acts as a reference-counted owner of an underlying GtkSortListModel
instance.
It provides the methods that can operate on this data type through SortListModelProtocol
conformance.
Use SortListModel
as a strong reference or owner of a GtkSortListModel
instance.
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying `C` data type.
This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to the
SortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkSortListModel>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theSortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkSortListModel>)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theSortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gpointer op: gpointer?)
Parameters
op
gpointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a non-mutating
gconstpointer
to the underlyingC
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theSortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable override public init!(gconstpointer op: gconstpointer?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from a constant pointer to the underlying
C
data type. This creates an instance without performing an unbalanced retain i.e., ownership is transferred to theSortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafePointer<GtkSortListModel>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Optional initialiser from the underlying
C

instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init!(_ op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkSortListModel>?)
Parameters
op
pointer to the underlying object
-
Designated initialiser from the underlying
C

. i.e., ownership is transferred to theSortListModel
instance.Declaration
Swift
@inlinable public init(retaining op: UnsafeMutablePointer<GtkSortListModel>)
Parameters
op

Reference intialiser for a related type that implements
SortListModelProtocol
